OA Programmes allow the authors affiliated with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin to publish their articles in open access without individual APC. -Programme based on the contract made exclusively with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin: De Gruyter.
Attention! Elsevier (domestic licence): Elsevier open publishing programme in 2025 has been closed due to the exhaustion of the domestic pool of 1084 articles.
Springer is in the final stage of the exhaustion of the pool in 2025. It is recommended to finalise procedures as quickly as possible for articles already accepted for publication and meeting the criteria of a given program.

Attention! Taylor & Francis –the 2025 programme (launched on 5th May 2025) has been closed due to the exhaustion of the pool of 137 articles for consortium participants. Planned renewal: March-April 2026. Recommended steps: planning submissions for 2026, monitoring programme launch announcements ; ensuring that possible acceptance of the article will occur after the date of the 2026 programme launch date.
De Gruyter –no article limits in 2025 – programme for the authors affiliated at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (agreement with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin); OA publication without authorial fees via Rightslink.
Reminder of qualification rules – The key requirements are: appropriate affiliation of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the date of the acceptance of the article for publication compliant with the terms of the given programme. Verification of affiliations in the Springer and Elsevier programmes is performed locally at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (the Repository of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Katarzyna Bojko).
