Lista dostępna w modelu DDA zawiera pozycje z różnych dziedzin nauki wydane w latach 2025-2026. Dostęp do kolekcji możliwy jest poprzez link EBSCO eBooks Collection oraz stronę Biblioteki, zakładka Bazy danych.

 

Jeśli widzą Państwo potrzebę dodania tytułów nie występujących na liście DDA, prosimy o przesłanie zgłoszenia na adres e-mail: zbiorobcy@kul.pl. Po sprawdzeniu, czy tytuł jest dostępny w modelu DDA, e-book zostanie dołączony do listy.

 

Lista dostępna w załączniku jest na bieżąco uaktualniana.

 

 

Demand Driven Acquisition to metoda nabywania e-booków, która umożliwia użytkownikom udział w procesie wyboru e-booków. Korzystając z kolekcji DDA, Biblioteka Uniwersytecka KUL udostępnia wybrany zestaw e-booków do przeglądania na platformie EBSCOhost. Biblioteka będzie obciążana tylko za e-booki, które zostały znacząco wykorzystywane.

Znaczne wykorzystanie jest definiowane przez wydawców jako:
1. Przeglądanie e-booka przez ponad 10 minut
2. Przewrócenie ponad 10 stron w eBooku
3. Pobieranie dowolnej części eBooka
4. Wysyłanie dowolnego fragmentu eBooka pocztą elektroniczną
5. Drukowanie dowolnej części eBooka
6. Kopiowanie dowolnej części eBooka

We kindly inform you about launching of a new option for users of our University to purchase e-books in the DDA model (Demand-Driven Acquisition - Purchase by the reader's decision).

The option will be active in the network of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin until 16th December 2026 or until the expiration of funds limit allocated by the Library for purchases in the DDA model.

 

 

The list available in the DDA model includes mainly items from various fields of science published in 2025-2026. Access to the collection is possible via the EBSCO eBooks Collection link and the Library's website, the Bazy danych tab.

 

If you see a need to add titles not entered to the DDA list, please send a request to the e-mail address: zbiorobcy@kul.pl.

After checking whether the title is available in the DDA model, the e-book will be added to the list.

The list available in the attachment is constantly updated

 

Demand Driven Acquisition or DDA is a method for acquiring eBooks that allows patron usage to contribute to the eBook selection process. Using a DDA collection, your institution can make a select set of eBooks available for patrons to browse on EBSCOhost, but your institution would only be charged for eBooks that experience substantial usage.

 

Substantial usage is defined by publishers as:

1. Browsing the eBook for more than 10 minutes

2. Turning more than 10 pages in the eBook

3. Downloading any portion of the eBook

4. Emailing any portion of the eBook

5. Printing any portion of the eBook
