On 5th May 2025, there was renewed the access to the Taylor & Francis ”Social Science Humanities” journal collection, which has now been expanded to include the possibility of open publishing within the consortium licence, with the pool of 137 articles in 2024-2026.

 

The Taylor & Francis 2025 open publishing programme allows the corresponding authors affiliated with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin to publish their articles in open access (OA) in selected hybrid T&F journals (so-called”Open Select”) without incurring the APC. The costs are covered by the national pool, administeredby the ICM.

 

The programme refers to the articles:

• accepted for publication from 5th May 2025 (lack of retroactivation)
• corresponding authorship affiliated with an institution participating in the programme,
• published in hybrid T&F journals (Open Select) – a list or the publisher’s website
• of a certain type (e.g. original research, review – instruction).
•  

The programme does not refer to:

• fully OA journals (Full Open Access)
• Dove Press journals
• articles published before 5th May 2025 (lack of retroactivation)

Articles published in prestigious journals from the High Impact group are restricted by an annual limit!

 

How does the qualification process work?

1. The author submits the article providing the correct affiliation.

2. After the text is accepted, the publisher’s system automatically evaluates the qualification for the programme

3. The author receives an e-mail with information about the possibility of OA publication and a contract form.

4. After acceptance by the author, the article is verified by the ICM.

5. After a positive verification- OA publication free of charges.
